Any cutting board can pick up occasional odors from garlic and onions. With these tips, your pieces from The Wooden Palate will stay clean, fresh & beautiful for generations to come.
CLEANING: Place your board in hot, running water and wash with soap. Allow it to air dry, then apply board butter, Let the butter sit on your board overnight or buff off and use immediately.
ODORS: Has your board picked up odors from your onions and garlic? Sprinkle some course salt across the board & scrub it in with half a lemon for a boost of freshness!
DISHWASHERS: NO! Never. Absolutely not.
